With Congressman Brady Maxwell up for reelection and journalist Liz Dougherty about to graduate into a promising career, the ambitious couple’s future is brighter than ever. They share a passion for their work…and for each other. But when Brady holds a press conference to officially introduce Liz as his girlfriend, reporters hungry for a scandal bombard her. Now, her every move is under a vicious magnifying glass, and her life feels like it’s falling apart.

On the road to reelection, the passionate bond between the congressman and the journalist gets tested at every stop. Threatened by shameless media sensationalism and jealous exes, Brady and Liz now have to learn to trust each other despite what they read in the papers.

In the finale to USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde’s sexy Record trilogy, Liz and Brady may be setting off fireworks along the campaign trail, but can their love transcend politics as usual?

If you’ve been keeping up with this series, then you know that Liz & Brady are back to each other again. (PRAISE THE LORD, FINALLY).

“I’ll always be your airplane.”
That’s right. Airplanes, baby.”

I’ve got a perma-grin from of all Brady’s manning-up. Also, where can I get me a Brady please? (JK, I’m in a happy relationship. Unless someone knows of a way to get me a Brady??) Besides the point. I’m just so sad their story has come to an end.

But all that growing up everyone did! Brady stepping up for his love, Liz. Clay becoming less of an assholean asshole on occasion, okay, he’s still an asshole. But at least he loves his brother a tiny bit. Hayden being…well…Hayden was still pretty sketch in my book.

Like seriously, who needs to meet in person to talk? That’s what cell phones are for. (But, besides the point).

The plot was a little underwhelming in this story, however I think we needed this so all our little brains and hearts could be assured that Brady & Liz are the duo who can stick it out until the end. (Especially since Linde had me a little worried that Hayden may have been the reigning champion). NOT TODAY HAYDEN BOY, NOT TODAY.

The main challenge of the book was the couple struggling to “come out” to the public and face the challenges of being in the face of the press constantly. But isn’t this what Liz wanted from the beginning? Because if she doesn’t want it, I SURE DO. And I have to say, even though I usually hate a woman giving up the things she loves for a man, I felt like this was done in such a smooth manner that I wasn’t so bothered by it. Liz was meant to be by Brady’s side and Brady’s beautiful ass turned to her for advice every step of the way.

Okay I’m done. Pick it up my friends. You won’t be disappointed.
